GRID becomes a partner of PGL Major Antwerp 2022
The eSports information platform GRID becomes the official information partner of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. As part of the deal, the platform will continue to provide information solutions for the broadcast and commercial partners of the championship, which is currently taking place in Belgium.
Silviu Stroe, PGL CEO: "We are excited to continue our partnership with GRID for PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Data has become a vital part of the esports ecosystem. The role of data in broadcasting, integrity and revenue is critical to the continued growth and stability of the scene."
Using GRID technology, the platform will also expand its services to include data and video security, allowing the company to control sports integrity during the event. It should be noted that the cooperation between GRID and PGL is a continuation of the partnership between both organizations, signed at the beginning of 2019.
Charlie Hanley-Nicholls, Chief Product Officer at GRID: "The first esports event I ever attended as a fan was PGL Bucharest back in 2017 and the consistency and quality of what Silvio and his team are doing is always top notch. The fact that we can contribute as an official media partner of PGL for the third year is a real privilege."
Note that other commercial partners of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 include GG.BET, Bitget and Secretlab.
