Itaú Unibanco becomes a partner of IEM Rio Major 2022

Tournament holding ESL FACEIT Group announced the conclusion of a partnership agreement with the Brazilian banking group Itaú Unibanco. As part of the deal, the largest bank in Latin America will become an official partner of IEM Rio Major 2022.

It is reported that the agreement started on October 31 and will last until November 13. However, the parties announced the partnership only today, November 11, on the second day of the playoffs of the competition.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.

  • 1st place: $500,000 + 4,000 points + tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023
  • 2nd place: $170,000 + 2,000 points
  • 3rd-4th place: $80,000 + 1,250 points
  • 5th-8th place: fnatic and Cloud9 — $45,000 + 375 points
  • 9th-11th place: ENCE, Team Liquid and BIG — $20,000
