WePlay Compete Launches a Series of Online Esports Tournaments

The Ukrainian tournament platform WePlay Compete, which is part of WePlay Esports, has launched a series of eSports online tournaments in support of the Ukrainian army. It is reported that prize funds earned by players during the matches will be donated to the needs of funds that support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Tournaments will be held daily in Dota 2 and League of Legends disciplines.

Registration for matches is free, with no restrictions on the number of tournaments in which you can take part. Tournaments will last until the end of the war on the territory of Ukraine. Anyone can take part in the initiative, from anywhere in the world, with the exception of residents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

Recall that earlier WePlay Holding terminated all partnership agreements with companies from Russia and Belarus. In addition, the tournament operator WePlay Esports announced the suspension of support for Russian-language projects. It is reported that the company will focus on the production and development of esports content in Ukrainian, as well as launching an English-language analytics studio at its championships.
