Gen.G partners with Nimble Neuron
North American esports organization Gen.G has announced a two-year partnership with game developer Nimble Neuron. As part of the deal, the parties will collaborate on a series of activations to accelerate the promotion of Eternal Return.
The partnership kicks off on March 23 at the Game Developers Conference with a themed party for attendees and influencers. In addition, a special event will be held at the Gen.G Game Cafe in Seoul where fans can play with Eternal Return streamers.
Arnold Huhr, Gen.G CEO: "We're taking what partnerships have traditionally meant in the esports space and turning it on its head. Gen.G has always strived to create an inclusive and widespread community around the world where fans can gather together. Working with Nimble Neuron to bring eyes back to their exciting IP gives us the opportunity to expand our reach beyond esports to expand their reach into the larger competitive community."
Along with the activations, Gen.G will launch the Eternal Return Collegiate Club program, a network supported by both parties through sponsorship and mentoring.
Nam Seok Kim, CEO of Nimble Neuron said, “We are thrilled to kick off this new chapter of Eternal Return with Gen.G Esports, which is constantly challenging itself to build a worldwide audience. Through this global collaboration with Gen.G, our company will focus on delivering captivating experience for players and esports fans around the world as we enhance our innovative experience both in and out of esports."
Teams formed by institutions, including the University of Kentucky, will compete in official tournaments that serve as qualifiers for the Eternal Return College Cup.
