Jackson Dahl left 100 Thieves
Jackson Dahl, who was part of the founding team of the North American esports organization 100 Thieves, has left the company. Dahl announced his retirement on social media earlier this week. He did not disclose his reasons for leaving or plans for the future, but called the move an incredibly difficult decision.
Dahl was part of the founding team that launched 100 Thieves in 2017, joining the founder of Nadeshot in creating what was to become a well-known esports organization and lifestyle brand. Prior to 100 Thieves, he worked as an analyst at the venture capital firm Lowercase Capital before leaving and pursuing a career in esports.
According to Dahl, 100 Thieves has stood out by creating a brand identity, expanding its business to include a focus on content creation and gaming culture. During Dahl's tenure at 100 Thieves, the organization began collaborating with a range of non-endemic brands and celebrities, including Lil Nas X, Lexus, Cash, and Rockstar Energy.
Dahl added that he will share additional information about why he decided to leave the organization and what awaits him in the future, in the near future.
