Motorola sponsors Vivo Keyd
Brazilian esports organization Vivo Keyd has announced a sponsorship deal with the Motorola brand. The smartphone maker, owned by Lenovo, will be featured on Team Vivo Keyd jerseys, on social media, and in released content. The agreement is valid until October next year. At the same time, the financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The sponsorship agreement was finalized as both brands - Vivo Keyd and Motorola - entered the Brazilian esports scene. After the organization was denied entry to the Brazilian League of Legends Championship franchise, Vivo Keyd invested in esports and won the Brazilian Free Fire League and several VALORANT tournaments over the past year, qualifying for Masters in Berlin.
Motorola is increasing its investment in Brazilian esports with the expansion of the mobile esports scene, now featuring games like Free Fire, Wild Rift, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The brand is also participating in a reality show broadcast on TikTok to select new players for Flamengo Esports' Wild Rift Team.
Motorola's selection of the Vivo Keyd as the sponsoring team is in line with the organization's current focus on mobile gaming.
