FACEIT announces partnership with Gucci
FACEIT tournament platform announced a partnership oriented to the mass e-sports, with a fashionable luxury brand Gucci. According to the press release, the parties will work together on projects related to the growth of the community and the self-development of esports players.
Note that this is not the first time that Gucci has entered esports. The fashion brand has been active in the industry since 2020, when it first partnered with esports organization Fnatic on custom watches. Since then, Gucci has also partnered with 100 Thieves in a clothing partnership and designed digital bags for Roblox.
Michel Attisani, FACEIT Co-Founder and CBO:"FACEIT and Gucci will support the growth of players as they move up the FACEIT and FACEIT Pro League careers. Companies will also work to strengthen the current stars who are positive role models in the community."
Billed as “deeper than previous partnerships between fashion and esports brands,” this agreement seems to heavily emphasize investment in esports at higher levels.
Gucci isn't the only high fashion brand to partner with esports companies and organizations. Armani and Louis Vuitton have also revealed a number of partnerships and investments in both brands and tournaments over the past two years.
