Riot Games acquires Kanga
Riot Games has announced the acquisition of media startup Kanga. The acquisition is immediate as the official Kanga website now only displays news information.
Kanga will join the global digital esports group Riot Games, where she will focus on developing digital fandom features and capabilities. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Kanga was a very rare and perfect combination talent, shared vision, passion and value orientation. "
Founded in 2018, Kanga is a startup specializing in creating "fan centers" that facilitate exclusive content, merchandise sales, and aggregation of video content specific to various esports teams and streamers.
According to a press release, Kanga founder Jake Perlman-Garr will take on an as-yet-undefined position at Riot Games.
