Thunder Predator enters into sposnor agreement with Trovo
Peruvian esports organization Thunder Predator has signed a sponsorship deal with streaming platform Trovo. As a result of the agreement, Trovo, owned by Tencent Holdings, will become the team's main sponsor.
Andres Villagomes, CEO and Co-Founder of Basher Agency, Sponsorship Manager at Thunder Predator:"Our challenge is to get multinationals to recognize the brand value of Latin American esports teams with the sustainable performance we have achieved between Trovo and Thunder."
Thunder Predator currently maintains a Dota 2 team. After getting into the TOP-6 in the 2021 Singapore Major, the team qualified for The International 10, which is due to take place in October.
Trovo is a relatively new streaming platform. In May, Trovo partnered with Allied Esports to launch a new series of esports tournaments in Latin America, North America and Europe. In addition, Trovo has partnered with Super League Gaming this June.
Note that Trovo began testing its platform in the US in March last year.
