T1 partners with Swappable
South Korean esports organization T1 Entertainment & Sports has announced a partnership agreement between its Dota 2 team and NFT platform Swappable.
According to the official announcement on the Swappable website, T1 fans will soon be able to purchase "T1 Exclusive Digital Collectibles". The first joint NFT will be the T1 genesis NFT with "unique properties that give owners exclusive rights."
In addition to the NFT collection, the Swappable logo will be displayed on the sleeves of Team T1's jersey when they compete at The International 10 this October in Bucharest, Romania.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fans can sign up on the Swappable website to find out about upcoming drops as they become available.
T1 has struck a number of high-profile deals in recent months, including with Razer and SteelSeries. Last month, the organization has also launched its own specialized academies of eSports. In addition, the organization partners with brands such as Nike, Twitch, BMW, Douyu, Samsung Odyssey, SKX 5GX and Red Bull.
