Yesterday, ESL published information on the official website that ESL One Hamburg 2017 became a tournament with Major status.
The championship will take place in Hamburg, Germany on October 28 – 29. The prize pool for the event is $1,000,000, and the main reward is 500,000. The event will be hosted by Barclaycard Arena.
8 teams will participate in the event. 2 of the will get direct invites, 2 more will be determined by North America qualifiers, 2 more on Chinese qualifiers, and 2 remaining teams will be defined in the qualifiers for CIS region.
