Mikhail 'Olsior' Zverev on the NAVI video: "This is probably the case when everything was done as unprofessionally as possible"
One of the commentators of the Maincast studio, Mikhail 'Olsior' Zverev, said what we think about the video that Natus Vincere filmed in response to Victor 'GeneRaL' Nigrini. According to Mikhail, the video was staged in an extremely unprofessional manner, and such a move could even aggravate the situation:
"I watched the NAVI video. A feeling of some kind of surrealism, some kind of total irresponsibility. When you have a replacement, especially such an unexpected one, you always need a context." There was a bad atmosphere "- how should fans find out?
Probably, this is the case when everything was done as unprofessionally as possible. You expect something different from NAVI - to come out a text in which every word is rechecked so that people do not think out and understand the team's position.
I would understand if it happened somewhere on the plane, all SMM employees were on vacation, and so on. But the decision was made "on the ground", it was weighed. The club disclaims responsibility, while the team does not seem to feel that it should be justified. And the players don't have to make excuses: but then be prepared for such a reaction from the community.
I don't want to be destructive. I understand this replacement, although I'm not sure if it will lead to positive results. I hope this line-up will succeed, but the way it was framed is a real chaos. "
NAVI was expelled from the Dota roster of Victor 'GeneRaL' Nigrini on April 4 and replaced by Roman 'RAMZES666' Kushnarev. Former Natus Vincere player recorded a video message to the audience, where he gave details of what was happening from his point of view. He said that the players of the team had a verbal agreement to maintain the unity of the lineup and refrain from excluding anyone. In addition, he said that Bogdan 'Iceberg' Vasilenko did not take part in the exclusion, as he himself was almost kicked from the team.
Later, NAVI recorded a response video message, which you can watch by clicking on the link.
