Elephant did not pay compensation to EHOME for disrupted Sylar transfer
EHOME announced that Elephant did not pay the first penalty for early termination of contract with Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun, which the Chinese revealed on their Weibo page. Elephant has yet to respond to their message and are refraining from making any comments.
Recall that during the collaboration of Elephant with 4 Angry Men at the stage of building the roster, it was announced that Sylar was joining the roster. Subsequently, the players did not like Liu Jiangjun's candidacy for the role of carry and offered to pay part of their salary money to buy out Zhang 'Eurus' Cenzhong from Vici Gaming. The collection of the train ended in mid-November. Although Eurus joined the team back in October, due to an unfinished deal with Vici Gaming, the esports player could not compete under the banner of Elephant. At the time of the buyout of Eurus, financial disagreements occurred between 4 Angry Men and Elephant, which led to the fact that Elephant left 4AM and continued performing under the sponsor tag.
EHOME wrote the following on Weibo:
"During the transfer period, taking into account the player's personal wishes and the opportunities for his career development, EHOME reached an agreement with Elephant to transfer Sylar. At that time, we had no idea what the consequences of this decision would be. As a result, the parties negotiated possible solutions to the situation, taking into account rights and interests of all parties and signed a corresponding agreement to prematurely terminate Sylar's contract with Elephant and pay compensation.
After that, we repeatedly turned to Elephant with requests to pay off the penalty as soon as possible. At the same time, the club still did not fulfill the obligations set out in the agreement.
We believe that Elephant is acting unprofessional and does not respect the terms of the contract. We hope that the club will nevertheless fulfill its obligations under the agreement and pay compensation as soon as possible. We reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings. "
