Dota 2 Players Encounter a Game-Altering Bug in Patch 7.38

As with many major updates, some technical issues have surfaced, and while Valve has already addressed several, one particularly unusual glitch remains unresolved.

Meepo’s Clone Bug: Extra Boots with Lotus

A strange interaction occurs when Meepo’s clones pick up the Lotus item. Under certain conditions, the clones gain an additional pair of boots, unintentionally increasing their mobility. Some players only noticed the bug after being accused of cheating, as opponents were puzzled by Meepo’s suspiciously well-equipped clones.

Community Demands a Patch

The Dota 2 community has quickly called on Valve to fix this exploit, as it provides an unfair advantage in matches. Until an official patch is released, players are staying vigilant for Meepo clones moving faster than they should. With Dota 2’s competitive integrity on the line, a fix can’t come soon enough.
