Breaking News: Blacklist International Severs Ties with Coach Ninjaboogie
Blacklist International, a formidable Dota 2 team hailing from Southeast Asia (SEA), has recently bid farewell to their coach, Michael "ninjaboogie" Ros. Despite being a relatively new entrant to the competitive scene, the team quickly made waves in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Southeast Asia (SEA) Tour 3: Division I, earning them a coveted spot at the Bali Major 2023.
Coach ninjaboogie played a crucial role in guiding Blacklist International to a commendable top 3 finish during the DPC SEA Tour 3, securing their qualification for the highly anticipated Bali Major 2023. However, their performance at the Major didn't meet expectations, resulting in a disappointing 13-14th place finish.
In a recent announcement, the team's management expressed their desire to explore "different playstyles" and adopt a "different approach to the game," leading to the decision to part ways with coach ninjaboogie.
Despite the change in coaching staff, Blacklist International remains a powerhouse with some of the finest talents in Southeast Asia. With skilled players like Polo "Raven" Fausto, Karl "Karl" Baldovino, Damien "kpii" Chok, Timothy John "TIMS" Randrup and Carlo "Kuku" Palad on their roster, each contributing unique strengths, the team is well-prepared for future challenges.
Their next big goal is to secure a coveted slot at The International 12 (TI12) through the upcoming Southeast Asia Qualifiers, scheduled from 27th to 31st August. Blacklist International faces tough competition from formidable opponents like Execration, Bleed Esports and Team SMG, as only one slot is available for SEA teams at TI12.
With their sights set on success, Blacklist International is poised to demonstrate their prowess and determination in the quest to secure a spot at the prestigious TI12.
