Valve unveiled update 7.33 'New Frontiers': The biggest patch in game history
Patch 7.33 for its MOBA game Dota 2, American studio Valve announced with the release of the previous update 7.32e, fueling the expectations of fans, as it promised to make innovations slightly more than in the ordinary patch. On the night of 20-21 April, update 7.33e, New Frontiers, was released.
As part of the update, the developers radically redesigned the game map, in-game mechanics, added new items, buildings and changed the characters' abilities.
Of the most high-profile changes, it's worth noting:
- Map enlarged by 40%, new passages and creep camps added
- Added 2 new runes
- Added teleporters
- Removed Roshan's Lair on the water
- In addition to heroes with the primary attribute of Strength, Agility or The International Intellect, the game now features Universal heroes
- Redesigned Black King Bar
- And much more
It is worth noting that the biggest update since Dota 2 Reborn takes place in the midst of the matches of the second division of the DPC season, playoffs DreamLeague Season 19 will start tomorrow, and the start of ESL One Berlin Major 2023 is scheduled in 5 days. Team analysts and the players themselves will have to study the update in a short period of time and come up with new tactics and strategies for the game, because after such a massive update the previous preps will no longer work.
