Banned Luna Gaming and S9 Players Reveal Scheme of Fake Predictions
Banned players from the Luna Gaming and S9 teams, who recently received lifetime bans from Valve and tournament operator PGL, have revealed the Sensibility prediction scheme. However, the esportsmen denied all accusations of participating in fixed matches at Dota 2 Champions League Season 15.
We are to blame for all this mess that we made. Under no circumstances could we do what we did, but this is the situation. Once again, we apologize to all of you for such a heinous incident.
However, we want to say again: we did not contact with any bets, no one came to the matches with the aim of losing, we did not have any "our" people anywhere. All this is speculation and rumors that arise on the basis of scandals. And I want to ask you not to throw it at us. We ourselves know what we have done, but it is very, very difficult to read more and more accusations against us, especially when we have already told how it all happened.
According to the players, Sensibility draws all the information about fake fights from the head and tries to guess the result of the match. All this he backs up with his past on the professional stage. As a result, Sensibility sells "exclusive information" to subscribers, which bookmakers have noticed.
After losing or getting suspicious from the bookmakers, Sensibility tries to "cancel the bet". To do this, he sends false information to the opposite team so that they refuse the match. If the arguments do not work, the former pro-player begins to threaten the cybersportsmen.
However, the Dota 2 Champions League Season 15 organizers got interested in the situation and started their own investigation. All this has gone so far that players have received lifetime bans for transferring accounts to third parties using written scripts.
Also in their letter, the Luna Gaming and S9 players asked to reduce the sentence for the Ukrainian esportsman illusion, who was caught in the situation due to inexperience and youth.
Help reach out to Valve and help at least reduce the term of Danil's ban. He is young and driven. In this situation, he made an impossible stupidity by not telling about it, but he himself did nothing and did not know. We dragged him into this through our own stupidity, it shouldn't cost the kid his career.
We say everything here as it is. The man really had huge problems with electricity, he didn’t know anything about account sharing until the last moment. He just fell for the requests of friends and chose us, not himself.
Recall that two weeks earlier, the tournament operator PGL published a message in which he announced the blocking of ten professional players in Dota 2. Players were permanently banned by Valve and PGL for using other people's accounts (or transferring their accounts to third parties) and impersonating members other teams.
