Alliance expands with second Latin American roster signing
The Swedish esports organization Alliance has unveiled its second Dota 2 roster by signing the Hokori team. The team will play in the first division of Latin America under the Alliance.LATAM tag.
It's been a crazy year. A year of ups and downs, but also a year of clear progress. We are now in a place where we have more freedom to grow and be able to do what we love and believe in. We had to remind ourselves that our path, the path of Alliance, has always been about helping players walk the same path that has changed our lives forever.
After meeting with the players and Hokori staff, I realized that we have to help them somehow. They embody the spirit of Alliance and remind me of a group of guys that I worked with at the beginning of my career.
We are incredibly proud and happy to take this step into South America and redouble our efforts in this beautiful game called Dota 2. The 2023 season promises to be exciting and I can't wait for the DPC to start.

From now on, the former Hokori team will represent the colors of the club. Last season, the Brazilian-Peruvian team managed to win the TodayPay Invitational Season 1 and Thunderpick Bitcoin Series, as well as get into the TOP-3 following the results of DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I and BTS Pro Series Season 12: Southeast Asia. In addition, the team was represented at The International 2022, where it took 13-16th place after losing to beastcoast.
Despite the failure of the team in the third round of the DPC last season, the Swedish club took care of the fate of their wards and bought the Tempest slot in the first division of Latin America.
Note that a little earlier, the Swedish organization Alliance announced an updated five players who will represent the club in the new season.
