S4 becomes the captain of the new Alliance roster
The Swedish esports organization Alliance has announced an updated five players who will represent the interests of the club in the DPC 2022/2023 ranking season. The legendary Gustav 's4' Magnusson became the captain of the squad. Previously , the roster for the season was announced by Neon Esports .
The organization called this line-up a combination of West and East, as the team will play 3 players from Sweden, a Malaysian and a Singaporean. Gustav 's4' Magnusson is a legend of the Dota 2 scene. The esportsman started his career back in 2012 and played for a number of eminent European teams. The main achievement in the career of a thirty-year-old player is the victory in the Alliance at The International 2013, then they defeated Natus Vincere with a score of 3:2 in the grand final of the tournament. That final is still considered one of the best matches in this esports discipline.
For Charlie 'aQua' Arat and Simon 'Handsken' Haag, the previous team was goonsquad, where they played alongside s4. In addition to goonsquad, aQua managed to play for the Chicken Fighters. Handsken has previously played for Alliance twice. His biggest achievement with the team was 9th-12th place at The International 2021. Back then, Alliance earned $800,400.
Ng 'ChYuan' Kee Chyuan hasn't competed professionally since October 2021. Fnatic became his last team. They also finished in 9-12th place at The International 10 for $800,400 in prize money. In addition, the player was noted for playing for such teams as Team Aster, Geek Fam and others.
