Geek Fam unveiled Dota 2 roster

The Malaysian esports organization, which has teams in such disciplines as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire and Mobile Legends, has announced the Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season on social networks. We previously reported that teams from South America are not being paid prize money for the 2021/2022 Tour 3 DPC.

Rolen 'skem' Ong played for BOOM Esports last season. The player was noted for victories at the regional level, namely at DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I, GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 and BTS Pro Series Season 12: Southeast Asia. At The International 2022, BOOM Esports took 9th-12th place, earning $378,612.

Joshua 'Kokz' Maraño, also known as avataRmod3, spent a year with the lower team. Neon Esports twice first took 7th place at DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I and went down in class, after which 8th place at DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II did not leave the team a chance to participate in major tournaments. The biggest achievement of the player is the victory at Khaz Modan Cup Season 4, which brought Neon Esports $10,000.

Nikko 'Force' Bilocura, along with Polaris Esports, performed throughout the season with varying degrees of success. The team managed to both rise to the first division and leave it. As a result of the regional qualification for The International, Force and their partners went to play in the Last Chance Qualifier, where they did not achieve success. It is worth noting the victory at Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 and $75,000 in prize money.

Ravdan 'NARMAN' Narmandakh cannot boast of special results in 2022. The twenty-three-year-old played for the Army Geniuses. The club failed to advance to the first division twice, finishing 3rd at DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II and DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II.

Roger 'Roddgeee' Tan is rightfully the main veteran of the new line-up. The Malaysian-Australian player began his career back in 2013. As part of RSG and Team SMG, Roddgeee showed good results at the regional level.

The line-up of Geek Fam is presented below:

  • skem
  • Kokz
  • force
  • NARMAN
  • Roddgeee

Geek Fam have been absent from the Dota 2 scene since September 2020. In the past, the team took part in only two Minor tournaments, namely DOTA Summit 11 and WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020, the rest of the time Geek Fam played at non-ranking championships.
