Team Aster makes changes on the coaching bridge and signs a new mid player
The Chinese esports organization Team Aster has completed the roster for the next DPC 2022/2023 season, having made changes to the coaching bridge, as well as introducing a new mid player. From now on, the team will be headed by rOtK, who will replace LaNm at this post. In turn, the latest addition to the line-up was Xwy, which is intended to replace the retired Ori.
Following the wishes and after friendly negotiations, LaNm resigns as a coach. During his coaching career, he has always maintained a serious and responsible professional approach. With his unique understanding of the game and rich experience in the arena, he acted as the brains of the team. He worked tirelessly to lead the team into domestic and foreign competitions. In two and a half years, progress has been made in various fields and our own history has been created.
LaNm has led the Chinese team since August 2020. For two seasons, the 32-year-old specialist helped Team Aster win i-League 2021 Season 1 and Intel World Open Beijing, as well as get into the top three at DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I, DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 2: Regional Final, PGL Arlington Major 2022 and ESL One Malaysia 2022.
rOtK becomes the new head coach of the team. The 30-year-old Chinese specialist has previously worked with the likes of Invictus Gaming, Vici Gaming and Elephant, with some international success.
In addition, Xwy joined Team Aster as a position two player. The new mid player has spent the last six months with Aster.Aries, where he took second place at DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II.
