Infinity Esports Disbands Dota 2 Roster
The Costa Rican esports organization Infinity Esports has announced the disbandment of its Dota 2 roster. Recently, the team failed in the regional qualifiers for The International 2022, which was the reason for the termination of cooperation with the players. This is reported by the management of the club, as well as the regional manager of Infinity Esports.
As the leader of the Infinity Dota 2 team in Peru, I officially announce the complete disbandment of the roster. I was with them throughout the months of the competition and through all the ups and downs we had throughout the year, we always knew how to deal with any problems that came our way. Expectations were high and the work we put in together with the entire squad deserved to be better. To this day, I continue to think that the team tried their best, but I have to be realistic and always deal with situations from a professional rather than a personal point of view, trying to find the reasons for failures and use this experience to better deal with the situation in the future. Thanks to the entire team for their time and dedication. We will come back stronger.
The former roster of Infinity Esports was formed in October last year, having gone through several changes. During the season, the Peruvian team became the winner of the DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division II, and also made it to the top three in the Claro Gaming Apu League Season 2.
The organization does not intend to leave the discipline and will return with new lineups for the next season. However, the team will have to start their journey in the second division of Latin America, since Infinity Esports was only seventh in the DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I.
