Will Dota 2 have more new items?

Information about new excavations of dataminers has appeared on the Internet. They found 14 images with unreleased items with new names. What their role will be in the game and how they will be used is currently unknown, but we will share our guesses and play detectives.

Due to recent changes and the removal of some neutral items that have been replaced with others, it can be assumed that some of the items shown in the picture can be found in the forest.

Another part of the items (and maybe even all) can be purchased in the shop shop. For example, the Arcane Scout associated with the use of a courier is unlikely to be found in the forest.

There is also a similarity with existing items. For example, Barricade is like Aeon Disk, Harpoon is like Hurricane Pike, and Slime Vial is like Healing Salve. It is noteworthy that the Guardian Shell appeared earlier in the “Wilting Pool” event dedicated to The International 2017, and Minacles of Power is similar to the Hill Troll’s forest creep Enspare skill.

Guardian Shell in the Wild Pool event, by the way, had unique abilities aimed at protecting against magic. Passively, it gave +40% magic resistance and +15 armor, and an active spell reduced the effect of all slowing abilities by 100% and removed the torpor effect.

Which guesses turn out to be true and which are not, we will find out when Valve releases new items in the game.
