Vici Gaming unveiled updated roster ahead of TI qualifiers
The Chinese esports organization Vici Gaming has presented an updated Dota 2 roster ahead of The International 2022 qualifiers. 陈冠宏 and Yds officially left the team, while Fade and ba b took their places.
After significant personnel changes this year, the team was groping and did not pass the run-in. Unfortunately, the players weren't able to build chemistry and didn't reach the expected goals. Faced with the inevitable and hardships of qualifying for The International 2022, the team can no longer pin their last hopes. In the end, after careful consideration by the club, Vici Gaming's Dota 2 roster made the following adjustments.
陈冠宏 and Yds have represented the team's colors since last November. Together with the team, the Chinese players took fourth place at Huya Winter Invitational 2021, and also got into the TOP-5 according to the results of DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I and DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I. Well, according to the results of the third round of the season, Vici Gaming was completely relegated to the second division, taking only 7th place.
The club's new third position is bab, who previously played for the Blaze team. Fade became the last recruit of the team. The 26-year-old Chinese player spent the last season with Invictus Gaming, with whom he took third place in the Huya Winter Invitational 2021 and DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II. Notably, Fade has already represented the colors of Vici Gaming in the past.
In addition, complementing the personnel changes, Yang changed his role in the team and became a position 5 support.
The updated composition of the Chinese team will take part in the regional qualifiers for The International 2022, which will be held from September 3 to 18. Together with other participants, Vici Gaming will compete for one ticket to the main championship of the DPC 2021/2022 season.
From now on, Vici Gaming's Dota 2 roster is as follows:
- poyoyo
- xm
- baby
- Frisk
