Dota 2 received an update
In this large-scale patch, many aspects of the game were affected, from the mechanics of the All Pick mode to neutral objects and abilities of the heroes.
Perhaps the most interesting change affected the mode of All Pick. Now it looks more like Captain's Mode and runs in five rounds. The forces of light and darkness now take turns choosing one hero at a time, and players can only find out that an opponent has been selected in the next round. If suddenly the same hero is chosen by two participants in the match, then he will go to the team in which he was picked in the first place. The second player will receive extra time to compensate for another hero as compensation. Changes were made not only in the peaks, but also in the characters' bans. Previously, after the ban stage, the system banned half of the proposed characters, now each of the proposed characters has a 50% chance of getting a ban. If, for example, out of 10 players only 7 vote for the ban of characters, then the remaining 3 veto will be applied automatically, according to the statistics of the banned heroes on the rating being played.
