Valve Releases New Dota Pro Circuit Rules Ahead Of The 2021/2022 Season
The Dota 2 developers havepublished an updated list of rules for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit season.Valvedecided to change the number of points that will be awarded in championships. In addition, the creators of Dota 2 announced the deadline until which it will be possible to secure their roster, which will take part in the Dota Pro Circuit matches.
From now on, the number of rating points played in the 2021/2022 Dota Pro Circuit season will be as follows:
- First League - 690 points
- Second League - 920 points
- Third League - 1,150 points
- The first Major tournament - 1,900
- The second Major tournament - 2 700
- Third Major tournament - 3,500
November 21 is the last day when clubs will be able to announce their rosters for the Dota Pro Circuit season. If the clubs want to change their roster, they need to wait until the league or Major tournament is over and exclude players by next Tuesday. After the expulsion, they will have until next Sunday to sign new esports players.
The entire Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 season will be divided into three stages, each of which will include a league and a Major tournament. The first stage starts on November 29 and ends on January 23. There is no information about the exact dates of the second and third stages, but it is known that they will take place in the spring and summer of 2022. The International 11 will no longer be held in August, as it was before, but in the fall.
