Pump.fun Acquires Trading Terminal Vyper

The leading Solana memecoin launchpad Pump.fun officially announced the acquisition of the trading execution terminal Vyper.

The deal includes full integration of Vyper’s team and technology into the Pump.fun ecosystem, with a particular focus on the Terminal platform (formerly known as Padre, which was acquired in October 2025). The standalone Vyper product will be gradually phased out, its entire infrastructure will be migrated to Terminal, and all users will be redirected there.

This marks Pump.fun’s second major acquisition in recent months. The company is rapidly building a vertically integrated memecoin ecosystem, from token launches to fast, seamless trading, now with stronger cross-chain capabilities.

Founder’s Statement

Pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen (@a1lon9) commented on the acquisition:

“Despite unfavorable market conditions, the team will continue to rapidly and aggressively expand headcount while strengthening technical capabilities in key areas such as cross-chain trading infrastructure. We will keep investing significant resources to drive growth across our core platform, the Pump.fun mobile app, and the Terminal.”

The Vyper team (including former CEO @_relational) confirmed that their mission remains unchanged, making trading as intuitive and accessible as possible. Going forward, they will focus on enhancing social analytics, expanding support for Base, and other EVM chains.

Vyper is well-known for its automation tools and lightning-fast order execution. The integration will deliver to Pump.fun:

• Improved speed and efficiency for cross-chain trading

Even as the memecoin sector has cooled dramatically (with total market cap down more than 70% from its peaks), Pump.fun continues to show long-term confidence. The platform is still setting records with nearly 30,000 tokens launched per day and is actively investing in infrastructure.
