WCA 2017 Apac Qualifiers announced
The organizers of World Cyber Arena 2017 announced the first details of the upcoming qualifiers to the tournament in Pacific Rim region. The prize pool for the qualifiers is $37,400 money reward and two slots for World Cyber Arena 2017 Finals. The open qualifiers will start on July 14 – 15. 512 teams will participate here and will compete with each other on the servers located in Singapore. Two best teams will go to the closed qualifiers that is scheduled on July 24 – 31. In these qualifiers, the teams will play Bo5 matches in round robin system.

The play-off will start on August 1 – 3 and will determine two teams that will go to the LAN-final World Cyber Arena 2017. List of participants for the closed qualifiers:

Prize pool distribution: 1st place — 150,000 RMB (~$22,000) + slot for WCA 2017 Finals2nd place — 75,000 RMB (~$11,000) + slot for WCA 2017 Finals3rd place — 30,000 RMB (~$4,400) The final stage will take place at the end of the year in China. Currently, we two participants are already known: TyLoo and Eclipse. Both teams managed to get invites to LAN-final after passing the Chinese qualifiers.
