The best period in Markus ‘pronax’ Wallsten’s career is undoubtedly the time when he was playing under the tag Fnatic from November 2013 to November 2015. An interesting fact is that he joined the team on November 12 and left it on November 12 too, being on the roster for two years. During this period, pronax won more than $200,000 of grabs and earned a great variety of serious achievements, having prevailed at ESL One: Katowice 2015, DreamHack Open Tours 2015, DreamHack Open Summer 2015, ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 - Finals, ESL One: Cologne 2015 and other tournaments.
The Swedish esportsman became the first to win the CS:GO Major tournament with the prize pool in the sum of $250,000. JW, Flusha, schneider, and Devilwalk were playing on the Fnatic’s roster besides him then.
An interesting fact: pronax with his teammates placed the top of the very first version of the world rate by HLTV, being on the first place during the first three weeks on October 1-18 2015. Later, Fnatic returned its place but without pronax.
After his departure from Fnatic, the Swedish captain was not able to find a place where he could realize himself and started losing positions when the whole CS:GO scene was progressing, he wasn’t.
After such a long time, Markus Wallsten decided to officially state about the end of his career to leave the professional CS:GO scene. The player said on his Twitter account that he is going to move to something bigger and thanked everyone for the support he was receiving during the career in CS:GO.
