Northern Arena list of participants is announced
Canadian league of gamers has announced names of teams that received the direct invitations to the Northern Arena Canadian eSports championship.
The event will be hosted by Metro Toronto Convention Centre (Toronto, Canada) on September 1-4, 2016. Europeans and American teams will complete for 100 000 USD prize. Three European teams will join the event: GODSENT, Unity and NRG eSports. This is an important tournament for Team Unity, as this is a LAN-debut for Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez, EnVyUs ex-coach.
The following American teams received the invitations: Cloud9, Counter Logic Gaming, Selfless Gaming, Immortals, Splyce, compLexity, OpTic Gaming, TSM, Echo Fox, Winterfox, Luminosity Gaming. Just a week ago, LG signed a new Brazilian roster, so this tournament will be the first one for the new team roster.

Two Canadian teams will also join this event due to their success during the Call of the North online qualifiers: ACE Gaming and Synthetik. It should be noted that Northern Arena Canadian eSports will held two CS:GO championships. The first tournament will take place on September, 1-4, and the second tournament will be held at the end of 2016.
