It’s worth to remind that Fabien Fiey joined Cloud9 on November 17 last year. In four months, being in the team, he helped the team to place 3rd at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon 2018, 2nd at ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational 2019 and 9th-11th at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice Major 2019. Together with the last result, the French has received an invite to the Challengers Stage of the next Major tournament for the team, however, Cloud9 has lost their slot after his departure.

According to the rules, the team to lose more than two members of the roster, which has performed at a Major tournament, loses its invitation to the stage it has made it to. It’s worth to remind that Cloud9 released Robin ‘flusha’ Ronnquist and Jordan ‘Zellsis’ Montemurro from their duties on March 3 and 4.
