The organizers of Cross Border Esport 2017 announced three invites to the tournament. Such teams as ex-tRICKED eSports, Binary Dragons and Outlaws have been invited directly. They have already confirmed their participation in the tournament. Three new participants joined tRICKED eSports and Dynasty fe, that received the invites previously. OPAA and eXtatus ensured places in the tournament after defeating their opponents in Danish and European qualification.
