Important CS:GO tournaments in November
In November several interesting and important CS:GO championships will be held. In this material we are going to tell you about the events you shouldn't miss if you like watching the competitive Counter-Strike.

The pilot tournament of the last month of the autumn will be the championship organised by Beyond the Summit, taking place from 1 till 4 November. The prize pool is to be $150,000 and the holding place is Summit House mansion, located in Los Angeles. Tier-2 teams are going to fight for the victory. We can see BIG, compLexity Gaming, G2 Esports, Ghost Gaming, Heroic, Team Kinguin, NRG eSports and OpTic Gaming among the participants. All the collectives got direct invitations. As for the holding format, the participants will be playing in the Double Elimination bracket at the Bo3 matches. The unique peculiarity of Beyond the Summit tournaments is a relaxed atmosphere in the studio. For example, it is quite easy to see commentators talking to each other sitting on the sofa and wearing shorts and slippers. A lot of people are waiting for the tournament not only to see the competitive CS:GO, but also to dive into a good and funny atmosphere.
BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018
As always, six collectives are going to participate in the BLAST Pro Series tournament, taking place in Копенгагене from 2 till 3 November. They are going to fight for the prize pool of $250,000. $230,000 will be shared in the main tournament bracket and the other $20,000 will get to the team which will be the best at Pro Standoff. The place of the tournament is Royal Arena. The holding format, as it is typical for BLAST Pro Series won't be usual. Two collectives are to be defined at the group stage to play at the final. The other teams will participate in Pro Standoff, where the representatives of the teams will have duels on different maps and different weapons. The main money reward of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2018 will be $125,000. The vice-champion will get $50,000. Invitations to BLAST Pro Series were received by such teams Astralis, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Cloud9 and MIBR.
Intel Extreme Masters Season XIII — Chicago
From 6 till 11 there will be one of the tournaments of the thirteenth season from Intel Extreme Masters — IEM Chicago 2018. Its prize pool will be $250,000, and the main money reward will consist of 100,000. The holding place is Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Sixteen participants received the invitations and passed the qualifiers in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and GG.Bet. They will be divided into two groups. At the initial stage the teams will play in the Double Elimination bracket and will get three best teams from each of the groups coming to the playoff stage. The collectives from each of the groups will get to the final stage through the final of the upper bracket in the group, getting the win and playing at the semi-final. The teams making it to the final part with the help of the final of the upper bracket in the group will get to the semi-final. The collectives making it to the playoff with the helpful of the lower bracket and losing at the final of the upper bracket will start participating in the playoff from the quarter-final.
The playoff will be held in the Single Elimination bracket. The quarter-final and the semi-final matches will be played in the format up to two wins and the Grand Final — in the Bo5 format.
At this tournament, there will be a lot of popular teams. You can see such collectives as Astralis, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, mousesports, FaZe Clan, Fnatic and others among the participants.
DreamHack Open Atlanta 2018
The next tournament by DreamHack of the Open series is going to be held in Atlanta. The prize pool will be $100,000, and Georgia World congress center has been chosen as the holding place. Eight participants will be fighting for the main money reward of $50,000. The tournament will be held in a classical way: the group stage with the GSL system and the playoff with the Single Elimination bracket. We want to remind you that the event will be taking place from 16 till 18 November, and its participants are mainly Tier-3 and Tier-2 collectives.
ECS Season 6 — Finals
The most long-expected tournament in November is more likely to be the final of the sixth season of Esports Championship Series. Here eight best teams from Europe and North America are going to fight for the main money reward of $250,000. The whole prize pool is $660,000. The European and the North American divisions hold the competitions which will define the full list of the participants. At the moment Astralis has played seven out of nine matches and got the win at all the Bo2 meeting providing themselves with a slot at ECS 6 Finals. The holding method for ECS Season 6 - Finals is the same as DreamHack Open Atlanta 2018. The group stage will be held by the GSL system, and two best representatives of their groups will get to the playoff where they will play at the Single Elimination bracket at the Bo3 matches. ECS 6 Finals will be held from 22 till 25 November.
DreamHack Open Winter 2018
The last tournament from DreamHack of the Open series this year will be held from 30 November till 2 December. The prize pool is traditionally $100,000, and the main money reward is $50,000. The holding place of DreamHack Winter 2018 is Elmia Convention Center in Jonkoping.
Eight participants will be divided into two groups and will play with their opponents by the GSL system. Two best collectives from each of the groups will get to the playoff which will take place in the Single Elimination bracket. All the match of the final stage will be held in the Bo3 format.
