Imperial signed Mortal Kombat
After the Bulgarian five cyber sportsmen to be in search of a new sponsor, Imperial has become a new home for players having informed about this on its website.
Mortal Kombat has informed in the beginning of April about its returning to the professional CS:GO scene with a new roster, which will include the newcomer Hirstian «shEMETA» Spasov and 4 players who were in the previous MK roster.
The ESL’s statement about players who have been banned by Valve to be able to participate in its tournaments has become a motivation to return to the professional CS:GO.
The Bulgarian five has replaced the previous Imperial roster, which was created around Phil «Whindanski» Nicholas. The British-Irish roster was left without financial support as Imperial didn’t want to have two CS:GO rosters.
The comment of Emiliyan «spyleadeR» Dimitrov:
«We are really happy that we have chosen Imperial. We had other options as well, but Imperial offered us exactly what we are looking for and we believe that we can achieve a lot under their name.
As v1c7oR has said in a previous statement, our main goals are to qualify for EPL and all ESL IEM events, but we are taking every tournament very seriously and we are always playing to win them. Hopefully, in the next six months we will be back in the top 15 ranking. I want to thank Oli Adams and Imperial for believing in us, as well as all the sponsors and the fans who are supporting me and my team.»
