Former Natus Vincere player and current coach of CS: GO roster AVE Sergey 'starix' Ischuk spoke about his views on the entire professional CS: GO scene. In his opinion, the entire shooting range-2 is mired in fake matches and there are few honest teams left there.

Sergey said that his team had already been contacted by people offering to make good money several times:

The CS: GO scene is turning into a bunch of mock matches, and that's sad.

Personally, we have already been contacted three times about "business." if you can earn more ”you understand why many agree. After all, the most important thing is that your match is in line with the bookmakers, and there are already different numbers for setting up.

According to Ishchuk, many e-sportsmen performing at the tier-2 level cannot resist such a temptation, since they manage to earn many times more from fake matches than from regular CS: GO tournaments:

Naturally, people who are just starting their careers agree when they hear about the huge sums. Some have tried it once and continue to do so now.

Now only the shooting gallery-1 scene is adequate, games are held there without fake matches. There, players have a lot to lose. For others, it's easy money.

Regular thoughts out loud.

Sergey 'starix' Ischuk was last on stage as a CS: GO player last June. He played under the 1win tag from January 30 last year to June 20, 2020. He later moved to the bench and became the coach of Hard Legion Esports on September 7. He survived the boom of the coaching bug with dignity and left the team on April 17, 2021, moving to the ranks of AVE. The reason for this was the desire of the owner of Hard Legion Esports to abandon CS: GO activities and take a break for an unspecified period.
