Movistar Riders will send smooya to stock
The Spanish esports organization Movistar Riders has transferred smooya to the replacement roster of its CS: GO team. Similar news was shared by the Dexerto portal, citing its own sources. Interestingly, the news comes just a few days after the Briton announced on the stream about the possible departure from the team.
It is reported that the organization has decided to return to the Spanish composition, getting rid of all foreigners. At the same time, a week ago Movistar Riders sent steel to the bench, parting with the Estonian in the person of shokz.
The three players the report claims will join the team are dav1g, DeathZz and SunPayus, who are looking for a new team following the disbandment of the Iberian Family.
Smooya himself has been the # 1 statist in Movistar Riders since joining the team six months ago, with a rating average of 1.25 over that period. While his personal stats were impressive, the team struggled to break into the upper echelons of the scene. Together with the smooya team, he became the winner of several championships, including the ESL European Championship Winter 2020, OMEN WGR European Challenge and ESL Masters España Season 9.
With only six days left until the start of the Spanish organization's debut in the new ESEA Premier Season 38, Movistar Riders is expected to announce the changes officially soon.
The possible roster of Movistar Riders is as follows:
- alex.
- mopoz.
- dav1g.
- DeathZz.
- SunPayus.
