Loss of activity - over the past month online in CS: GO fell by almost 9%
According to available information, the number of players fell 8.77% compared to April. In the month before last, the average online CS: GO players were ~ 723,000, while in May the number dropped to ~ 659,000.
The indicator of the average number of players was not the only one where statistics worsened. Peak online in CS: GO dropped from ~ 1,140,000 to ~ 1,080,000 concurrent users in Valve's shooter.
In early May, Valve announced a change in the tournament set of playable maps. Now Ancient has taken the place of Train, and on the 28th, CS: GO developers have released a patch that improves the new map. This patch has fixed some bugs and improved textures.
Intel Extreme Masters Summer 2021 will be one of the first championships in which esports players will play on the new map.
