Cloud9 said goodbye to woxic
Cloud9 general manager Henry 'HenryG' Greer announced that the club has decided to say goodbye to the esportsman by mutual agreement. Problems with the player's geographic location and high ping when participating in professional matches were named as the official reason. Henry Greer assures that the sniper's departure has nothing to do with his character, results or the situation in the team as a whole, but the community is skeptical about this statement.
Henry Greer has promised to provide more details about the team's future soon.
Ozgur 'woxic' Ecker joined Cloud9 last September when C9 announced a resounding return to the stage. He took part in FLASHPOINT Season 2 and made it to the top 4 teams in BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown and Nine to Five # 7. During his time at Cloud9, he also managed to take 5th-8th place at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020. Woxic's transition to the ranks of C9 was estimated at $ 1,300,000, including the ransom and his salaries.
Now the Cloud9 roster looks like this:
- Ricky 'floppy' Camery
- William 'mezii' Merriman
- Patrick 'es3tag' Hansen
- Alex ALEX 'McMeekin
