MSL and Aizy were put on the bench in North

The cycle of MSL in North again led the player to leave the starting lineup of the Danish team. Together with MSL, aizy sat down on the bench. Now Christopher 'kristou' Aamand and Rasmus 'kreaz' Johansson will appear in the CS: GO roster instead. If, in the case of kristou, the club's management decided to conclude an agreement on a permanent basis, then kreaz, in turn, will act as a player undergoing a test period.

Now the role of in-game leader has moved from MSL to gade, with cajunb overseeing the team's morale outside the game. Rene Borg will also prepare newcomers to play in the new team. North noted their commitment to considering younger candidates for player roles in the future.

The situation in North was commented on by French journalist and insider Guillaume 'neL' Canelo. He believes that the management made many mistakes from the very beginning and now may lose the last chance to get into the world top:

"Terrible to think about North history tbh. They joined CS as #2 in DK, #5 in the world... now #4 in DK, #25 in the world. Kicked Magisk & k0nfig, kept MSL & aizy, took Kjaerbye, let Valde go, missed blameF & stavn, didn't see es3tag potential.
Didn't see or did not reveal the potential of the guys from MAD Lions and Heroic. Seriously, their early years were probably the worst management. Everyone saw it, everyone talked about it. Not sure what they can do now. It will be very difficult for them to return to the top. "Didn't see or used properly the potential in the MAD Lions or Heroic guys... Seriously their first years were probably the worst possible management. And everybody saw and said it".

MSL and aizy joined the North ranks in early 2017 when the esports organization was founded. Unlike MSL, Philip 'aizy' Aistrup did not leave the team before the management decided to sell the player. Matthias 'MSL' Lauridsen, in turn, left the team in 2018 and went to Rogue, after which he managed to become the winner of DreamHack Open Summer 2019 under the OpTic Gaming tag. In early 2020, MSL returned to North. The CS: GO roster swaps are not the only changes North has made. Earlier, the management of the club changed, and North began looking for new investors.

Updated CS: GO roster North:

  • Rene 'cajunb' Borg
  • Jonas 'Lekr0' Olofsson
  • Niklas 'gade' Gade
  • Christopher 'kristou' Aamand
  • Rasmus 'kreaz' Johansson (probation)
