The MongolZ Bench DarkMeister and Tikuak After Short-Lived Stint

The MongolZ have moved both DarkMeister and tikuak to the bench, ending a run that lasted just a couple of months for the two young players.

Both joined the Mongolian organization in July 2026, brought in to fill out the main roster. Since then, the pair has competed in three events together: BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, where the team placed 5-8th; the Esports World Cup 2026, finishing 9-16th; and FISSURE Playground #3, where they ended up 13-16th.

Their individual numbers over that stretch didn't help their case. DarkMeister posted a 0.92 rating, while tikuak finished on 0.91 — both well below what's expected from players on a roster that has spent time as the world's number one team. For a lineup built around consistent top-level performances, ratings hovering just below 1.00 made it difficult to justify keeping the duo in the starting five.

With DarkMeister and tikuak now out of the active lineup, The MongolZ's current roster stands at:

That leaves the team with only three confirmed players for the starting five, and no word yet from the organization on how they plan to fill the two open slots. It's still unclear who The MongolZ will bring in to replace DarkMeister and tikuak — whether that means turning back to a previous player, promoting from the academy again, or looking outside the org entirely. Given how quickly this latest experiment ended, fans will be watching closely to see if management takes a more cautious approach with the next additions.
