WePlay! have dispelled rumors regarding the possible announcement of a series of tournaments for 2021-2022 with a total prize pool of $ 10,000,000. The tournament operator did this in their press release.

Let us remind you that yesterday on the ESTNN portal there were rumors about the announcement of a series of championships from WePlay!. After the news was published there, the editors removed it. According to ESTNN WePlay! were to play for $ 10,000,000 in fourteen CS: GO and Dota 2 tournaments from 2021 to 2022.

According to the general manager of the media holding, the main reason lies in the quarantine regime. Because of this, WePlay! just like all other tournament operators have their hands tied, and therefore the company cannot plan events of this scale.
