Why Senzu Made the HLTV Top 20 in 2025

2025 was an outstanding year for Senzu in terms of individual achievements. Throughout the season, he remained one of the strongest and most consistent players on The MongolZ roster. The first major success came at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025, where the team finished 3–4th, delivering a strong performance at the first elite tournament of the year.

At BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and BLAST Bounty Fall 2025, Senzu and The MongolZ both claimed second place, further confirming the team’s status among the world’s elite.

The biggest triumph came at the Esports World Cup 2025, where The MongolZ convincingly defeated Aurora 3–0 in the grand final, securing the championship and a $500,000 prize.

Senzu 2025 Performance Summary

In 2025, Senzu played 179 maps, posting an average ADR of 79.5, KAST of 72.1%, and an overall rating of 1.12. In addition, he earned the EVP (Exceptionally Valuable Player) title four times at:

  • Thunderpick World Championship 2025
  • Esports World Cup 2025
  • BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025
  • FISSURE Playground #2

Senzu also showed strong and consistent performances against elite opposition, recording a 1.03 rating versus top-5 teams and 1.10 against top-10 teams. These numbers further underline his importance as one of the key players on the roster.

At the end of October, The MongolZ made a surprising decision to bench Senzu, replacing him with controlez. With the new lineup, the team competed at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, finishing in 5–8th place.

Bold Prediction from Senzu

As part of the Bold Prediction segment, Senzu made a confident pick by highlighting cobrazera, who joined The MongolZ toward the end of the year. According to Senzu, cobrazera adapts quickly to top-tier pace, shows confident individual decision-making, and remains composed in chaotic situations. He emphasized cobrazera’s aggressive playstyle, strong sense of timing, and ability to consistently impact rounds even against elite opponents.
