Legion Cup: New Gen Battle - the largest amateur CS2 tournament in Ukraine

A large-scale amateur tournament Legion Cup: New Gen Battle, organised with the support of Lenovo and Rozetka,continued throughout November . After numerous stages of the competition, the winners were finally determined.

The triumph of the 5LEGENDS team

The tournament was won by the 5LEGENDS team, which beat Fastov Team in the final. The championship became the largest Ukrainian amateur Counter-Strike 2 tournament in history, bringing together more than 160 teams from all over the country.

The 5LEGENDS team was the last to reach the Play-off stage, but demonstrated a high level of play in the BO3 matches. Their performance in the finals was a bright culmination of the tournament.

Uniting the Ukrainian cyber community

The competition brought together participants from all over Ukraine. For example, representatives from Ivano-Frankivsk and Fastiv competed in the semi-finals, and the latter reached the final.

Despite the ban on professional and semi-professional players, some tried to circumvent the rules by using fake accounts. The organisers actively monitored the integrity of the competition, responding to suspicious actions, and ensured transparent results.

Prize pool

Play-off participants received rewards:

• 1st place - 5LEGENDS: 25,000 UAH + a certificate for 2,000 UAH for each player on Rozetka.ua.
• 2nd place - Fastov Team: 15,000 UAH + a certificate for 1500 UAH for each player.
• 3rd-4th place - CHIPSIKI GANG and OldGuardians: 10,000 UAH each + a certificate for 1,000 UAH for each player.
• 5th-8th place - GOODTeam, Comedoms, BloodIron, Eternal Sunshin: 6,000 UAH each.
