In CS 2, players have reached the Global Elite rank for the first time following an update that revamped the game's ranking system.
The achievement was first attained by a player known as 0.01$. He successfully climbed to the highest rank in the shooter game on the Dust 2 map, requiring 46 wins to do so. However, it remains unclear how many victories he accumulated post-update.
