VERTEX has officially confirmed the addition of Matthew "Valiance" Hartrick to their roster, solidifying the team after the retirement of Liam "malta" Schembri. Valiance, a rifler, had previously played for VERTEX in mid-2022, featuring in 11 maps before briefly leaving the team.

Throughout this year, he played for VERTEX in various capacities and also participated in mix-teams like e-LEMON-ators and John Industries. The Australian squad, with Valiance back in the lineup, recently competed in several CCT events, securing consecutive second-place finishes, falling short to Rooster in both finals. Their latest match with Valiance took place on October 28, marking his official return to the team.
