Valve released a highly anticipated update for Counter-Strike 2 on the night of November 17. Developers focused on fine-tuning the gameplay and rectifying various issues.
Key changes include:
- Sabotage Tweaks: Visual and auditory improvements to sabotage mechanics for a more immersive gaming experience.
- Sniper Scope: Reduced swaying animation of the sniper scope, enhancing aiming accuracy.
- Grenades: Addressed a bug regarding grenade throws not registering on the server and resolved the issue of grenades instantly detonating when thrown at teammates.
- Weapon Throwing: Weapon drop trajectories are now more stable, making weapon throws smoother.
- Official Servers: Matches on official servers will be automatically canceled upon network failures detection.
- Movement Sounds: Unique sound additions for running and jumping on metallic surfaces to enhance the game's ambiance.
- Fixes and Enhancements: Changes made to animations, particle effect performance, sound settings, and visual issues during demo playback.
