Official announcement: gla1ve and kuben are now part of ENCE
Former Astralis captain, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, has officially joined the ranks of the ENCE CS2 lineup. The news of this move was confirmed by the club through social media, validating information that had already been revealed by insiders.
Gla1ve will be taking the place of Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, who departed from the roster on November 26th. Alongside this change, it was announced that Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski will also be joining. Kuben will step into the coaching position, replacing sAw, who opted not to renew his contract, following the former captain's departure.
Gla1ve's most recent team was Astralis. He played for the organization since 2016, with intermittent periods, and achieved the title of champion in four CS:GO majors. In June 2022, he was moved to the bench and hadn't found a new team until now.
Kuben brings coaching experience from working with the Apeks team, where they secured a third-place finish at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. In September, the organization decided to part ways with the coach, bringing in Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg from their youth lineup.
The current ENCE roster stands as follows:
- Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
- Pavle "maden" Boskovich
- Gai "Nertz" Iluz
- Pavel "dycha" Dykha
- Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia
