According to information from the HLTVportal, the average duration of CS:GO matches with three maps is three and a half hours, which exceeds the duration of many traditional sports competitions.
For a visual comparison, during this time, you could watch almost two Formula 1 races. Even the Super Bowl, known for its numerous commercial breaks, lasts just over three hours. In contrast, a full match in VALORANT, on average, takes 2 hours and 51 minutes.
For this reason, analysts believe that transitioning to the MR12 format in Counter-Strike 2 will help retain viewers' attention, as it will require less time to watch a match.
