Tickets for the first Counter-Strike 2 Major are now available for purchase on PGL

The tournament organizer PGL has started selling tickets for the upcoming PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 tournament, which will take place in nine months as part of the game Counter-Strike 2.

For this tournament, tickets need to be purchased separately for each day as there is no option to buy a package that includes all four days. On previous tournaments, there was an option to purchase a pass for all days of the Major.

PGL has already published the schedule for the RMR tournaments and the first Major in Counter-Strike 2. The European qualifiers will take place from February 14th to 24th, 2024, and the best teams will be selected to participate in the Danish Major.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is scheduled to take place from March 17th to 31st, 2024. The playoff matches will be held at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, which can accommodate up to 16,000 spectators. The tournament prize pool will be $1.25 million.

According to Valve's statement, the full release of Counter-Strike 2 is planned for the summer of 2023, but the exact date is currently unknown. Counter-Strike 2 is currently in the beta testing phase, and the developers have already tested the Dust2 and Mirage maps. It is likely that the next map to be added to the shooter will be Nuke.
