Developers at Valve have identified the most challenging weapons in the game CS 2
The latest update in the closed beta of CS 2 introduces a new system for selecting weapons. Players now have the freedom to choose up to 5 weapons from three categories: pistols, intermediate weapons (shotguns, SMGs, and machine guns), and rifles. Valve has provided brief descriptions and assigned difficulty ratings ranging from one to three stars for each weapon to assist new players. The highest difficulty rating is given to six specific weapons.
These are the most challenging firearms in Counter-Strike 2:
CZ75-Auto:
The "CZ75-Auto" is not effective at long distances and has limited ammo, but it proves extremely useful during intense rushes towards point B.
R8 Revolver:
The R8 Revolver used to be too powerful, dominating the game with its ability to eliminate opponents with a single body shot. However, Valve made adjustments due to its slow fire rate and high cost, resulting in the revolver losing its prominence in the modern CS.
Desert Eagle:
The legendary Desert Eagle is considered the best pistol in the game. It requires precise aiming and doesn't forgive inaccuracies. Players can learn more about it from NiKo.
Negev:
The Negev is an affordable and powerful machine gun with a large magazine. However, it is incredibly heavy, and firing short bursts can be challenging due to recoil that takes several seconds to stabilize. Only elite players can handle the Negev without relying on spraying techniques.
AK-47:
The AK-47 is the primary rifle for the attacking side. It offers good armor penetration and damage but has a difficult recoil pattern. Valve has given it a three-star difficulty rating, while more manageable rifles receive two stars.
SSG 08 ("Scout"):
The SSG 08 sniper rifle can only eliminate opponents with a headshot but is significantly cheaper than the AWP. It provides better maneuverability and helps players practice their aim. Missing a shot that isn't a headshot can have severe consequences in the game.
